Rock, never shy about his conservative views, slammed what he called the divisive narratives pushed by liberal media outlets. “Just the clips you ran from The New York Times and these other nuthouses—they’re absolutely ridiculous,” he said, arguing that their reporting fuels societal chaos.
He went on to explain how he’s been misrepresented for years. “I’ve been called a racist Nazi just for supporting Trump,” Rock said. “Go look at my life, my kids, everything. They just keep echoing these lies.”
The rocker highlighted a worrying trend: young people, glued to video games and streaming content, internalizing these narratives and acting out in destructive ways. “You get these house kids who think they’re going to do something good by going after someone labeled a Nazi or racist—they’re literally mentally deranged,” he warned.
Rock also touched on his attempts to bridge the country’s growing divide, recalling how he played at both Barack Obama’s and Donald Trump’s inaugurations and even took Bill Maher to the White House for dinner. “If it wasn’t for Fox News and social media, nobody would hear about these efforts to bring people together,” he said.
