The Democratic Party has expressed their support for Joe Biden, even though he hasn't formally announced his candidacy for re-election. However, self-help author Marianne Williamson has officially declared her intention to run against Biden in the 2024 Democratic primary.
Williamson has accused the Democratic National Committee (DNC) of unfairly favoring President Biden in the primary system, claiming that the system is rigged. Despite this, she says that she doesn't view her outsider bid as a direct challenge to Joe Biden, but rather as a challenge to the entire system.
In a recent exclusive interview with ABC News, Williamson elaborated on her accusations against the DNC. She stated that the DNC shouldn't be rigging the system and that they don't even try to pretend that they aren't. When asked by ABC reporter Johnathan Karl if the DNC was rigging the system for Biden, Williamson responded by saying that they even admit to doing so.
