Elon Musk doesn’t shy away from saying what’s on his mind, and this time, he’s sounding the alarm about something many aren’t even thinking about: population collapse.
"I can’t emphasize this enough—there are not enough people," he declared. Yeah, you heard that right. While most of the world is busy worrying about overpopulation, Elon’s over here flipping the script.
He believes one of the biggest threats to humanity is the low birth rate. "And yet," he points out, "so many people, including smart people, think that there are too many people in the world and that the population is growing out of control."
But here’s the kicker: according to Elon, "It’s completely the opposite. Please look at the numbers."
And if we don’t change course? Well, in his words, "civilization is going to crumble."
Dramatic? Sure. But this isn’t the first time Musk has voiced concerns about this. Whether or not you agree, his warning raises an interesting question: Are we sleepwalking into a future where fewer people means fewer solutions to the world’s problems?
What do you think? Is Elon onto something, or is this just another one of his hot takes?
