We’ve all been there—feeling sick, heading to the doctor, and walking out with a prescription to treat our symptoms. But here's the catch: is this really healing, or is it just another way to keep us dependent on the medical system?
Is Western Medicine Really About Healing?
The reality is, Western medicine is often more about business than actual healing. Instead of prioritizing prevention or finding cures, the system seems to thrive on keeping us sick. Think about it: when you go to a doctor, are they focusing on why you’re sick or just on treating the symptoms? Most of the time, it’s the latter. The treatments we get often don’t address the root causes of disease. Instead, they cover up the issue, giving us temporary relief while the deeper problem remains unaddressed.
The Symptom-Masking Business
Why is that? Because the medical industry profits off our ongoing sickness. A treatment that masks symptoms, but doesn’t cure anything, means more appointments, more prescriptions, and more money. In a system where the focus is on ongoing treatment rather than prevention or cure, it’s easy to see why the industry keeps growing stronger. After all, if we were truly healed, we wouldn’t need to return time and time again for more pills or procedures.
The Hidden Truth: We’re Not The Priority
There’s something unsettling about this. We’ve been conditioned to trust the system—doctors, hospitals, medications. But we have to ask ourselves: why are we prioritizing a system that profits from our pain rather than one that works toward our health and well-being? The truth is, when money is the primary motivation, healing becomes secondary. And it’s high time we start questioning this.
What Can We Do About It?
It’s not just about recognizing the problem; it’s about taking action. We have to advocate for ourselves, demand more from the healthcare system, and educate ourselves about alternatives that truly focus on our overall wellness. Prevention is key. We don’t have to wait until we’re sick to take action. And we certainly don’t have to settle for a system that’s built on maintaining illness instead of curing it.
The bottom line? It’s time to take a step back, look at the bigger picture, and ask ourselves whether the current medical system is truly serving us—or just profiting from our pain
